Peloponnesian War
In the wake of the Greco-Persian Wars, the establishment of the Delian League will dramatically reshape the power dynamics of 5th century Greece. Under Athenian leadership, the Delian League seeks to eradicate Persian influence and strengthen the alliances among the Greek city-states. However, the promise of mutual defense among the city-states quickly crumbles, and Athenian leaders must choose whether to stifle rebellions or to uphold the Delian League’s promise of democracy and diplomacy. The
pressure of a rising Sparta and growing internal dissent will force delegates in the Delian League to navigate military strategy, domestic policy, and diplomatic relations throughout the Aegean.
